Omdat we Friends of the Zoo zijn, gaan we nog steeds met enige regelmaat naar de dierentuin. En daar zijn de laatste tijd heel wat nieuwe dingen toegevoegd.
In de Te Wao Nui (het 'wetlands gebied) zijn een aantal watervallen, een nachtgebied 3 grote en een enorme voliere. Veel te ontdekken. Erg gaaf.
And there we are again, we are catching up from way back.
Because we are Friends of the Zoo, we go to the zoo fairly regularly and recently they have been adding lots of new stuff.
The Te Wao Nui area (a wetlands area) features various waterfalls and a night-area and 3 big and one huge aviary. Lots to explore. Pretty cool.
Er zijn nu ook kleine blauwe pinguins en op de toegang daarheen en de zeehonden staat nu een 'walvis skelet'. Mooi gedaan hoor. En oh, die andere foto, dat is onze achtertuin nog een keer. :-)
There are now also little blue penguins now and by the entrance, which is also the entrance to the seals there is a 'whale skeleton'. Kind of nicely done though. And the other picture...that is our backyard again. :-)
